Description: At Fine Watches we think the Cordura Sea-Gull, produced by Sicura/Breitling in the 70s, is an under-appreciated model that represents fabulous value in the “70s Diver” category. The understated combination of blues, greys and whites, with a touch of red, is distinctly 70s, but without the bright clash.
This watch is the best of these we’ve seen, with a great in-tact case, with light wear that you’d expect from a watch its age. The bezel, although lightly faded, is still solidly coloured, rare in this model, with most missing significant coating. While it looks like the day wheel may have been replaced at some point, the watch is otherwise in great original order. The movement runs well, if anything a little faster, and the date/day setting system of winding the time back 10 and 25 minutes works perfectly.
We’re offering the watch on an aftermarket shark mesh bracelet, but this watch looks amazing on a huge range of straps and bands!
