While many compare the Black Bay to its Rolex equivalents, this watch stands on its own. With the characteristic, and super cool, snowflake hands, in this version, the Tudor Rose logo, and “smiley” layout harking back to the models earliest iterations, this is our pick of “the one to have”.

This original version contained the ETA 2824 movement, prior to Tudor’s switch to in-house for this range. This is great for a number of reasons. Servicing is easy, and more affordable, the case is thinner, and basically, anyone can fix it.

There’s been a lot of talk about this watch being very collectable as time rolls on, and we definitely agree. And even if it doesn’t appreciate a whole lot, it’s a magnificent piece to own and wear.
